Member of the Board of the Child Protection Network (CPN)
Head of “Little Prince” Center, Armenian Caritas NGOHasmik Sargsyan has been working with Armenian Caritas since 2005. Since 2009, she has been leading the “Little Prince” Day Care Social Center in Gyumri, and since 2024, she has also overseen the Vanadzor Center. The core mission of these centers is to support socially vulnerable children, including those with disabilities, and their families by providing social and psychological assistance, educational programs, and opportunities for developing life skills.
The program promotes community inclusion of children, encourages healthy lifestyles, and works closely with families, communities, and schools to identify and address children’s needs. This model of service, implemented through Armenian Caritas, also contributes to the social and psychological stabilization of families.
Hasmik Sargsyan has been actively involved in the work of the Child Protection Network (CPN) since 2012 and serves as a member of the National Commission on Child Protection, representing Armenian Caritas.
As a Member of the CPN Board, she is committed to supporting advocacy initiatives, particularly those promoting day care services for children and small group home models. She is also willing to share Armenian Caritas’s Child Safeguarding Policy as a reference to help other member organizations develop similar frameworks, contributing to a safer and more responsive child protection environment across the Network.
