On December 12, the Child Protection Network held a meeting with its member organizations to discuss the draft of the Comprehensive Program for the Protection of Children’s Rights 2024–2029. Participants were introduced to the program’s key components and actions, as well as the challenges and issues related to its implementation.
Member organizations reviewed the draft through group work, voicing their perspectives and suggestions. The diverse experience, approaches, and ideas of CPN members contributed to the development of valuable recommendations that will guide the Network’s ongoing advocacy efforts.
The meeting also provided an excellent opportunity to bring together long-standing members of the Network and newly joined organizations, fostering a collaborative and inclusive atmosphere.
The session was facilitated by Anahit Hovhannisyan, a child rights protection expert who was involved in the program’s development process.
The meeting was organized within the framework of the “Stronger Civil Society for Empowered Child Protection” project. The project is implemented under the leadership of World Vision Germany and World Vision Armenia, in cooperation with the Child Protection Network NGO, the Armenian Association of Social Workers NGO, the Armavir Development Center NGO, and the “Tahuys” Socio-Educational NGO. It is funded by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and World Vision Germany.
