CPN’s Membership in Child Rights Connect

The Child Protection Network has become a full member of Child Rights Connect. Based in Geneva, this network brings together 134 national, regional, and international organizations working to ensure the full realization of the rights enshrined in the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child.

Child Rights Connect works with the UN human rights system. It helps organizations submit reports to the UN Committee on the Rights of the Child, have a voice in UN discussions, and, most importantly, bring children themselves into those discussions.

Membership gives CPN the opportunity to engage directly in processes taking place at the UN level and to take part in the network’s thematic working groups — education, violence prevention, the environment, and child participation. All of this makes it possible to bring child rights issues in Armenia to the international stage.

CPN’s Membership in ISPCAN

The Child Protection Network has become a full member of ISPCAN, a global platform working in the field of preventing violence against children. ISPCAN is considered one of the world’s leading professional platforms, bringing together individual experts and organizations to advance the prevention, early identification, and effective response to violence against children.

This membership provides CPN with the opportunity to engage in international knowledge and experience exchange, participate in professional events, and contribute to advancing Armenia’s child protection agenda at the global level.

CPN’s Membership in Eurochild

The Child Protection Network has reaffirmed its membership in Eurochild for the third consecutive year. Eurochild is one of Europe’s largest and most influential coalitions in the field of children’s rights and protection.

Through Eurochild, CPN participates in important sectoral webinars, discussions, and capacity-building initiatives, following European best practices and emerging trends in child protection.

This membership contributes to international knowledge exchange and strengthens the professional capacities of the Child Protection Network.

About CPN’s Membership in the Eastern Partnership Civil Society Forum Armenian National Platform

The Armenian National Platform (ANP) of the European Union’s Eastern Partnership Civil Society Forum (EaP CSF) is the largest platform uniting civil society organizations in Armenia.

The ANP is committed to supporting the implementation of Eastern Partnership programs, promoting participation and awareness among all segments of society, and contributing to the consistent implementation of democratic reforms. One of the Platform’s important responsibilities is monitoring the commitments undertaken by the Republic of Armenia before the European Union and providing effective recommendations regarding their implementation.

The Child Protection Network is a member of the Platform’s 5th Working Group, which focuses on social and labor policy and social dialogue.
