CPN Visits to Lori Region

In the context of CPN’s summer–autumn field visits, the Child Protection Network summarized its working missions to the Lori region. In the cities of Vanadzor, Alaverdi, and Stepanavan, the CPN team visited AMAA’s Vanadzor “Shogh” Community-Based Daycare Center, “Aravot” NGO, “Liarjek Kyank” NGO, the Community Mobilization and Support Center NGO, “Lusastgh” NGO, “Arpi” NGO, and Armenian Caritas’ Little Home in Vanadzor.

On site, we familiarized ourselves with the programs implemented by our member organizations, the services they provide, and met with their teams.

The areas of work of our member organizations vary greatly, and therefore the points of cooperation and opportunities between the Network and each organization also differ. With child protection and the well-being of children at the core of our partnership, the meetings focused on identifying challenges that require joint efforts and a coordinated approach. The discussions also addressed the formation of policy and public agendas in the field of child protection, the articulation of regional issues, and the search for viable solutions.

Based on the services provided by our member organizations and the local experiences they have accumulated, the Network is shaping its upcoming advocacy initiatives to make the protection of children and their families in communities more visible and impactful.

Such meetings between the Network and member organizations serve as an important platform for forming shared positions, strengthening cooperation, and ensuring that child protection remains a key priority in both public and state policy.
